Scents from Madrid

Further expanding our "Gentleman's Quarter", we have an inexpensive delight from Madrid in the form of Alvarez Gomez - Agua de Colonia Concentrada. Celebrating its 100th year on the market, but only its 1st year in the UK, this invigorating cologne based on the scents of Mediterranean flowers, plants and fruits is a zesty, refreshing delight.

The opening is a fizz bomb of lemon and orange blossom...

carried by herbs (think sage & mint). It tickles the nose with the same sparkling effervescence as a freshly poured gin and tonic. Then comes a satisfying hit of lavender, rose and vanilla to soften the edges. A combination which has clearly stood the test of time!

Silver Hirondelle Mugs

Thanks to everyone who has waited so patiently on the silver Hirondelle mugs coming into stock. We're pleased to say they left Denmark today and should be with us on Thursday 27th September.

We'll be wrapping and sending out on Thursday and Friday and throughout the following week to everyone has pre-ordered.

Expansion of our 'Gentlemen's Quarter'

As we add more products to create a proper 'Gentlemen's Quarter' at Pierrot et Coco, we have gone for a decidedly English brand with Mayfair's D.R. Harris.
Our focus is on the Arlington range, at the centre of which sits a fine gentlemanly cologne that first hits you with a stimulating burst of lemony citrus. This is immediately sliced through by fresh, green ferns and a light neroli and musk. The citrus note last surprisingly long and sits alongside the woody, fougere notes for the duration of its projection.

Often considered the British Acqua Di Parma, this classic, refined and discreet fragrance is never intrusive and leaves you with an overall sense of refreshment. 

Everything is in stock and available for next-day delivery within the UK and fast worldwide delivery.

We currently have a wider range that the items shown (we also have best badger shaving brushes and shampoo bar in metal tin) and we're always happy to offer advice if you're not quite sure what to go for.

Baby Rabbit Lamp

We've wanted these vintage style baby rabbit lamps for such a long time at Pierrot et Coco. Eventually we got round to adding to our kitsch lamp collection and now have these incredibly cute lamps in stock.

Modelled on a vintage Japanese toy, it has 1940's looks, with a kiss curl peeping out of the bunny hood, and little drawn on eye-brows like the film stars of the day.

Hand painted with a sage green or white all-in-one sleepsuit, the lamp reveals a cheeky side with a little bare bottom peeping out.

When lit gives off a mottled light, bright enough to read a book by and gentle enough to drift off to sleep when it's on.

Gold mugs - important news

We have some gold mugs (as seen on Celebrity Big Brother) en route to us now and they will be packed and sent to the first batch of lucky customers who bought. The second lot is due with us mid September and a 3rd lot in October and these will go out to those who have reserved or bought in advance.

However, we have just heard we cannot receive any more until late December/mid January, so it looks likely that anyone who has not yet bought will be unable to secure a delivery of these before the end of the year.

We're really disappointed as we know how much you love these mugs! You are welcome to add your name to the waiting list, however, and if we manage to receive some sooner, or anyone cancels their order, we can move you up the queue.

Gentlemen...

We're making a real 'gentlemen's quarter' in our shop, with grooming products from all over the world coming to us this week. We'll have shaving soaps, brushes, creams, balms, bath soaps, shower gels, colognes...from Mayfair barbershops to Californian companies, and new stock of the beautifully packaged Ortigia range from Italy, we're convinced we've found some of the best. Add to this, the new collection of Happy Socks from Sweden and a few surprise homeware and lifestyle buys, the men at Pierrot et Coco will be more than adequately catered for!

We'll have highlights of some of our favourite choices as soon as they're in-store and online!
